When: Saturday, JUNE 12, 2021. 2:30 - 6 PM Dance; 6-9 PM VIP Dinner (shrimp, oysters, clams, filet mignon & more), Show (Jessica Kirson) and Reception (optional).  NEW DATE.

Where: Whyte Hall, Fire Island Pines. (Drive to Sayville and take ferry or take MTA LIRR to Sayville and taxi to Ferry)

Cost: Dance $125 advance and $150 at door. Dinner, Show, Reception & Dance packages $200 / person (or $400 for 2 people) early bird, then $250 at the door.

Join us on Saturday, JUNE 12, 2021 (new date) in Fire Island for the 10th annual LBTQ Women's Pride in the Pines Dance, and optional VIP reception, dinner and show (comic Jessica Kirson and TBA).

Enjoy an fun afternoon of mingling, dancing, networking and conversation in the spacious, outdoor covered pavilion and adjacent dance floor. DJ Susan Levine spins. And browse a great silent auction (fantastic, high-end bargains in past years, such as theater tickets, restaurants and travel) as you enjoy open bars of wine, vodka, juice and tasty hors d'oeuvres. 400 attendees expected.
 
In the evening enjoy a VIP cocktail reception, a tasty, buffet dinner (shrimp, clams, oysters, filet mignon and more. Yes vegetarian & vegan food included) indoors and great entertainment on stage, including the hilarious comic Jessica Kirson and TBA. Always a high-end show. 
 
The event benefits Callen-Lorde, a non-profit whose mission is to provide high-quality, affirming health care to the LGBTQ community, regardless of ability to pay.

Organized by the LGBTQ Focus Foundation (a 501(c)3 non-profit that produces Women's Pride in the Pines) and proudly co-hosted by Yale GALA, Inc. and The Manhattan Lesbian Party List. 
 
In past years over 75% of event proceeds benefited the designated charity, as overhead is low.  
 
Transit: Drive to Sayville and take the ferry (a 2:15 PM ferry and 9:30 PM returning ferry are added for the event) or take the MTA LIRR to Sayville and taxi to Ferry. No car needed to attend. Stay on any of the islands, the mainland (less expensive) or do a daytrip.
 
Non-binary people and men are welcome at the event. Must be 21+ to drink alcohol. Children are welcome and free.
 
Dress code: Silver and White (for the 10th anniversary) - optional. 

  

 

It is easy to get to Whyte Hall, Fire Island.  You do not need a car nor a hotel to attend. 


Take the Sayville Ferry (http://www.sayvilleferry.com/) goes from Sayville, Long Island to the Pines. ($16 round-trip).
Take the special 2:15 PM Sayville Ferry (NOT on the schedule) to the Pines for the event.  Follow the women.

There are special MTA LIRR-Ferry packages (take the LIRR to Sayville LIRR Station, transfer via Colonial Taxi to Ferry -- $40 round-trip) or via water taxi from any other beach on the Island ($7 fare).   


If you drive, there is a paid parking lot across the street from the Sayville Ferry.


Detailed Public Transit Directions: Take the LIRR (from Penn Station, Brooklyn or Jamaica) to Babylon, transfer for the LIRR to Sayville.  At Sayville take a quick ride in the Colonial Taxi (part of the MTA package deal) to the Sayville Ferry and take the Sayville Ferry boat to the Pines.  It is a quick walk to the event; follow the women.  To connect with the special 2:15 pm Sayville Ferry just for the event ...


From NYC Penn Station take the 11:55 AM LIRR to Babylon, transfer for the Sayville LIRR (depart Babylon 1:17 pm, arrive Sayville 1:40 pm).  OR from Brooklyn Atlantic Terminal take the 11:45 AM LIRR to Jamaica, transfer to the Babylon train (depart Jamaica 12:20 pm) and transfer to the same Sayville LIRR train (depart Babylon 1:17 pm, arrive Sayville 1:40 pm). 

In Sayville, take the Colonial Taxi to the Sayville Ferry (or use Uber) and take 2:15 pm special ferry to event.
