Join us for the 2nd annual LBT Women's Urban Hike in Venice, CA. Meet 10 AM at Tom's Flagship Store, 1344 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice, CA. 75 women attended in 2014. 3.5 miles total. FREE. E-mail Natasha@yalegalaevents.org for a copy of the ROUTE MAP.

When: Sunday, June 28, 10 AM - 1 PM

Cost: Free. Optional cash food and beverages

Join us on what’s now one of our most popular events. This year, we’re heading to Venice, where we’ll explore the hidden walk streets, stroll through scenic canals, and hit Muscle Beach for some people and wave-watching, as well as a delicious treat.
We’ll be meeting in the back of TOM’S Venice in their outdoor community space and leaving promptly at 10:15am. Come early if you’ll want a hot beverage—which you can obtain either at the coffee bar at TOM’S, or at Intelligensia across the street. There’ll be another chance for coffee mid-hike.
As for parking—there should be a decent amount of street parking on Abbot Kinney and in the neighborhood, but of course I always encourage you to carpool…or bike… just in case.
Please wear comfortable shoes and make sure to bring sunscreen, $$ for snacks and beverages, and maybe a layer—beach weather is always a little unpredictable.
The total mileage on this “hike” is about 3.5 miles, and it’s completely flat. (Though the sidewalks of Venice are notoriously uneven, so please make sure to watch your step!)

COST: Free (bring cash for food and beverages, though)
